Russia may increase imports of vegetables from Azerbaijan by 25%

The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and
Human Welfare banned EU vegetables, causing more shipments from the
CIS, Iran and Vietnam, 1news.az reports.

The import quantity doubled in May-August. Import of vegetables and
fruits from Azerbaijan to Russia increased by about 20-25% in 2011.

Exports from Iran are expected to increase too. Russia imported 68,100
tons of vegetables and fruits.

Iranian experts expect Russia to import 75,000 from Iran in 2011.
