Georgia detains ship for pollution

The Georgian border police have held a vessel from the Marshall
Islands at the Kulevi Port, Trend reports.


The Sloman Themis tanker was stopped at the first dock for sea
pollution. Captain Romano Mizholovich from Croatia was charged
according to the Georgian Administrative Code.


The captain was fined with $39,418 and $5m870 for pollution. The
vessel will be released after payment.
