Seismic tremors jolt Caspian Sea

An earthquake has hit the Caspian Sea, the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan said.

The Service indicated that the tremor was logged at 07:22 local time (GMT+4).

The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.1, with its epicenter located at a depth of 16 km.
