Russia, Iran to hold joint anti-drug operations

Russia plans to carry out several joint operations with Iran in the sphere of the fight against drug trafficking, the director of the Federal Drug Control Service, Viktor Ivanov, said, RIA Novosti reports.

He said several visits by Russian drug-control policemen to Iran and vice versa had taken place.

He added that during joint operations the police of Azerbaijan will be involved.
