that 93% of Adygeis were either killed or became refugees in the
Russian-Caucasian war in the XIX century. And on 21st of May 1864 there

Adygeis social organization in Moscow ‘Khabzem and Nur’ requested the
Adyg embassy to provide Moscow Adygeis with room or the embassy’s inner yard for the mourning. Last year ‘Khabzem and Nur’ organized a minute of silence on the Teatralnaya Square, but after the latest events in Moscow they do not want any extra attention. The head of the organization Talustan Ketov said that Cherkess youth from all over Russia donated money to make memorial ribbons and their distribution all over the
world.
The memorial ribbons are associated with the St. George ribbons. Adygeis
sent them to Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Adygeya, Sochi,
St. Petersburg, the USA, Europe. An art workshop D-M-A is selling
T-shirts with Cherkess symbolic, as well as caps, pennons, magnets. The
most amazing of the souvenirs is the magnet the 1830 map of Cherkessia,
