Iran develops Azer oil field

Iran has started construction of a 230 KW power line from Mehran to
Dehlaran in Ilam Province to supply electricity to the Azer oil field,
Deputy Director General Asadi of the Regional Electric Company of
Western Regions for planning and development said, Iran News reports.


The power line will be 127 km long and will be supported by around 370
pylons. About $20 million has been provided.


Azer is to the east of Mehran. It is expected to produce over 50,000
barrels of oil daily. The 16-inch diameter pipeline will run to
Dehlaran.
