Armenian highway police chief dismissed

Armenian Highway Police Chief Markar Oganyan was dismissed on August

Colonel Markar Oganyan is suspected of exceeding his powers and major
property theft.


The commander of the 2nd officers' battalion of the Armenian Highway
Police, Colonel Stepan Karakhanyan, was detained last Friday.
Karakhanyan used 121,000 out of 277,000 liters of fuel for his own
purposes and income.
