Georgian foreign minister discusses relations with US

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze met US Ambassador John Bas
and discussed bilateral ties, Georgia Online reports.

Georgia and the USA formed diplomatic relations in 1992. The two
states signed a charter on strategic partnership in Washington on
January 9, 2009. The document allows improvement of cooperation in
defense and security, economy, energy, democratic reforms, diplomacy
and culture.
