Primroses in Moscow 2025: how crocuses, chionodoxas and coltsfoot bloomed
Read on the website Vestnik Kavkaza

Primroses in Moscow bloomed unusually early in 2025, already in March. The parks of the Russian capital were decorated with vibrant crocuses, delicate chionodoxas, graceful pushkinias and modest coltsfoot.
Unfortunately, in April, winter returned unexpectedly: Cyclone Zion brought with it subzero temperatures, strong winds, and, most importantly, heavy snowfall that lasted for three days without stopping.
When a snowstorm is raging outside and a white blanket of snow covers the ground, "Vestnik Kavkaza" reminds our readers how bright, green and sunny it was just recently in the parks and on the streets of Moscow.
