New constitution drafting in Turkey

Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party has begun activities on drafting a new constitution, Azerbaijani news agency Trend cites Turkish media.

A special commission has been established to prepare the new constitution. The commission will be working to create a more
simplified text of the Constitution.

The head of the commission, Ekrem Erdem, has criticized the existing constitution, calling it confusing for most of the population.
