Medics have carried out surgery for the pilot and air mechanic of the Mi-8 helicopter that had crashed in Arkhyz in Karachay-Cherkessia, RIA Novosti cites Director General of the PANKh Air Company Andrey Kozlovsky as saying.


The helicopter carried 13 people. 5 were hospitalized, including Deputy Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the NCFD Maksim Bystrov. They are currently being treated in Pyatigorsk. transported from Karachay-Cherkessia on Thursday.
