Russia, Tajikistan to enhance economic and military ties

Russian and Tajikistan are going to enhance their economic ties and military cooperation, RIA Novosti cites Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon as saying at the press conference in Dushanbe.

"An important step in development of bilateral relations is the decision to sign a special document on the state borders," Rakhmon said.

He also said that complicated situation in Afghanistan forces other nations to cooperate in order to maintain peace and stability in the region.
