Iranian President to visit Tajikistan

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will leave Tehran for Dushanbe on Sunday, zerbaijani news agency Trend cites AIranian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ali Asghar Sherdoost as saying.

During the two-day visit Ahmadinejad will attend the ceremonies marking the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence. In addition, during his trip, the first turbine of the Toodeh 2 power plant, which has been constructed by an Iranian company in Tajikistan, will become operational.
