Leyla Aliyeva: "The Green Agenda: Working Beyond Borders"

The British newspaper Huffington Post has published an article written by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev, chairman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR), initiator of the International Dialogue for Environmental Action – IDEA campaign, Leyla Aliyeva entitled "The Green Agenda: Working Beyond Borders."

The article notes that this year marks the twentieth anniversary of Azerbaijani independence, and over the years the country has achieved great successes.

“The priority has been economic growth and securing the prosperity of the country for the future. The economy has boomed to the benefit of both Azerbaijan and our trading partners. But one great challenge still remains: the protection of our rich and hugely diverse environment. This is true not only of Azerbaijan, but also of our neighbours that make up this region,” says the article.
