Russia deports crime boss to Georgia

Recently arrested crime boss, Merab Pipia, known
in the criminal world as Mrab Sukhumskii, has been deported to Georgia
, reports Interfax, citing the press service of the Moscow police.
"The person of Merab Sukhumskii is well known to the officers of the
criminal police. He is a hard-core criminal and in total has spent 19
years in jail. He was crowned a 'thief-in-law', and since 2001 had
been living in Moscow," - said a press-service spokesman.
According to operational information he is a leader of an organized
criminal group, charged with serious and especially grave crimes in
Moscow and the Moscow region. Merab himself was charged with robbery
and after fully serving his last term in jail has been sent to
Georgia.
