Russian sailor fined in Georgia for border violation

The Coast Guard Department of the Georgian Border Police has fined Vasily Polyansky, captain of a fishing seiner, for 500 lari for the violation of borders. Polyansky was detained in the territorial waters of Georgia on Septmber 2, the Border Police of Georgia reported.

Polyanski was detained for violation of the border regime in the territorial waters of Georgia. At the time of arrest the ship's captain was in the state of intoxication, Georgian border police reported.
