As a result of changing its global strategy, the British bank HSBC has decided to leave Georgia,  Business Georgia reports.

The decision to leave Georgia follows HSBC's decision to close its business operations in Poland and Russia.

However, all obligations on contracts will be fulfilled. The final closure of HSBC Georgia is planned for early 2012, by which time clients should have been transferred to other banking systems.
