UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has recommended Turkish authorities
to start more effective working out of solutions to the conflicts with
Armenia and Cyprus, reports RBK.
"Let's establish new diplomatic contacts with Armenia. Don't neglect
opportunities on Cyprus. The negotiations will be reopened next week.
The convergence of views is a jig-saw. We can't by-pass this critical
moment," - said the Secretary General.
Ban Ki Moon also pointed out Turkey's contribution to the global peace
process, in particular its participation in peace operations in the
Lebanon and Afghanistan and in resolving the Iranian nuclear issue.
