Turkish and Spanish prime ministers meet in Ankara

Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Zapatero is at the 3rd
inter-governmental summit with Turkey in Ankara, TRT reports.


Zapatero will meet his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan and
discuss the Union of Civilizations project. Ministers of Spain and
Turkey will also hold talks, followed by a joint meeting of prime
ministers.


Erdogan and Zapatero will hold a joint press conference. They will
discuss political and economic aspects of bilateral ties, relations of
Turkey and the EU, the Cyprus problem and the global economy. The
prime ministers will exchange views on events in the G20 states.
Zapatero is expected to discuss normalization of Turkish-Israeli
relations.
