The Georgian consulate at the Swiss embassy in Russia is operating in
a normal regime, News Georgia reports.

The consulate is located in a business center at  26/1 Ostozhenka
Street. It suffered from power cuts several times in August. The
Director General of RusInvestProyekt, Oleg Anikiyev, is the owner of
the building. Georgia has not paid power bills yet.

Georgia owes 25.02 million for renting the building. Preliminary
hearings were scheduled for October 17.

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said on September 5
that power would be shut down in a month. Tbilisi sees a connection
between the power cuts and the sales of the “Tbilisi” guest house at
the Georgian embassy in Moscow. The building was illegally confiscated
in 2006.

Georgia demanded the return of the building on July 26. An auction for
the building was announced in August.
