According to Turkish antimonopoly agency, Google was fined about 355 million lira ($8.88 million).

The penalty was issued due to Google's failure to comply with regulatory obligations, RIA Novosti reports.

The agency's statement emphasized that during the previous investigation revealed that Google had implemented a number of structures that violate Turkish regulatory requirements.
