Azerbaijani politician calls Nabucco region's major economic project

The leader of the Azerbaijani 'Umid' political party, Igbal Agazade, addressing the 21st economic forum in the Polish town of Krynica-Zdrój he said that the Nabucco gas pipeline is the major economic project developing in the region.

He said Nabucco can secure political stability in the region and establish Caucasian states' successful cooperation with the European Union.

The economic forum held in Poland was organized by the Warsaw Eastern Studies Institute. This year the forum is being attended by the editor-in-chief of the Vestnik Kavkaza news agency, Alexey Vlasov.
