Tremors recorded in Caspian Sea
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAn earthquake was registered in the Caspian Sea, according to the Azerbaijan Seismological Service reports.
Seismic activity was registered at 11 am. Instruments recorded a magnitude of 3.1. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 74 km.
No reports of damage or casualties have been received.
This follows a more powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 that struck Türkiye's Balıkesir province on August 10, resulting in structural damage and one fatality.
