A bridge in the Absheron district of Azerbaijan is about to collapse.

The rains of the last weeks have caused flooding of the river Sumgayitchay, Trend reports. As a result, a bridge over the river is in danger of collapsing.

Flooding has occured several times in the river Kura over recent weeks. 40 thousand houses are under water, 300 houses have been destroyed, 2000 are about to collapse and 50 thousand hectares of farmland are
flooded.
