Russia-Azerbaijan economic contacts developing steadily - Overchuk

Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum, Alexei Overchuk mentioned that members of the Russian and Azerbaijani delegations held numerous meetings during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Tianjin.
He emphasized that the development of Russian-Azerbaijani economic relations is progressing successfully.
"We actively engaged with our colleagues, including on the sidelines of the SCO summit," Overchuk said.
The Deputy PM reiterated that Russian-Azerbaijani economic relations are developing steadily, as planned.
He also noted that Moscow is cautiously optimistic about the agreement initialed between Baku and Yerevan.
"This is also an important contribution to strengthening peace in our greater Eurasian region," Overchuk said.
