Missing tourist found in Sochi mountains a week later

A resident of Sochi, a 58-year-old man who fell behind the group during the descent from the mountain a week ago, was found alive, rescuers report.

A missing tourist was found by rescuers in the Sochi mountains after a week of searching, the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

"The missing 58-year-old Sochi resident was found alive,”

– the squad informed.

The man was found in the village of Aibga. The squad received a signal from the border guards that the missing tourist was located there.
