Oblivion is UN’s future, adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader says

The SCO summit demonstrated that the UN’s days are numbered and the organization will soon be consigned to oblivion, Ali Akbar Velayati said.

The United Nations will soon cease to exist, Ali Akbar Velayati, Foreign Policy Advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, said.

He made the relevant statement while commenting on the results of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.

“The world has finally heard the sound of the breaking bones of the United Nations, and it is practically possible to clearly announce the beginning of the process as a result of which it will be consigned to oblivion, like the League of Nations,”
