Houthis deny production of chemical weapons

The Houthi rebel movement, Ansar Allah, is not engaged in the production of chemical weapons, the group’s representative said.

The information that the Houthis from the rebel Ansar Allah movement have begun to produce chemical weapons is not true, the deputy head of the press service of the movement, Nasreddin Amer, said.

Earlier, Yemeni Information Minister Moammar al-Iryani said that the Houthis launched chemical weapons production. According to him, the substances for them are smuggled in from Iran.
