Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping to take part in extraordinary BRICS summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin will join the online BRICS summit, which is scheduled for next week.

The event will also be attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the country's leader will deliver a speech at the summit.

It should be noted that the online BRICS summit will take place on September 8. The extraordinary virtual meeting was initiated by Brazilian President Lula da Silva.

It is reported that the heads of state will discuss the trade policy of US President Donald Trump.
