This afternoon, an earthquake occurred in the southern part of Iran. According to Iranian seismologists, its magnitude was 4.7.

The tremors were registered in the south of Iran. A relevant message was distributed by the National Seismic Center of the Institute of Geophysics of the University of Tehran.

The earthquake occurred at 16:07 local time (14:37 Moscow time) in Fars province, located in the south of Iran, namely in the Kazerun County.

Its magnitude is estimated at 4.7. The depth of the source was 10 km.
