Morning earthquake jolts Caspian Sea

An earthquake has been recorded in the Caspian Sea this morning, the Republican Seismological Service Center reported.

The quake measured 4 on the Richter scale and struck at 07:41 a.m. local time on September 15.

The epicenter was located 76 km below the surface.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.
