Xiangshan security forum opens in Beijing with Russia's participation

The Russian delegation has arrived in the Chinese capital Beijing to take part in the 12th Beijing annual Xiangshan Forum on security, to be held on September 17-19.

Russia will be represented at the event by Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Tsivileva, as well as other representatives of the military department.

The forum will be attended by around 100 other countries.

The main theme of this large-scale event is ‘Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development.’

The event traditionally focuses on international security cooperation in Asia-Pacific and on a global scale. Its main principles are equality, transparency, tolerance and sharing experience.
