Nearly 210,000 mines cleared in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur since November 2020

Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, reported that 209,168 explosive objects remaining after the war have been cleared during demining operations.

He specified that from November 2020 to September 17 of this year, an area of ​​227,713.3 hectares was cleared from mines and explosive objects after the Karabakh war.

In total, the sappers found and neutralized 209,168 mines and other explosive objects. Including 38,600 anti -personnel mines, 22,192 anti -tank mines and 148,376 unexploded ammunition were neutralized.
