Russia, China support maintaining lifting of sanctions against Iran

Russia, China, and Pakistan have spoken out in favor of maintaining the lifting of sanctions against Iran. The Russian Foreign Ministry criticized Europe's policy against Tehran.

Russia, China, Pakistan, and Algeria spoke out in support of maintaining the lifting of previous sanctions resolutions on Iran during a UN Security Council meeting on the restoration of sanctions, the Russian Foreign Ministry press service reports.

"During the UN Security Council meeting on September 19, Russia, along with China, Algeria, and Pakistan, resolutely expressed support for maintaining the lifting of previous sanctions resolutions on the Islamic Republic of Iran,”
