Russia accuses Europe of undermining Iran-IAEA dialogue

Russia believes that Europe's actions are undermining dialogue between Iran and the IAEA. The UN previously rejected a draft resolution on the non-renewal of sanctions against Iran.

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative to the international organizations in Vienna, stated that the actions of European states are undermining cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.

"Europeans are undermining the political process, diplomatic efforts, and cooperation between the IAEA and Iran,”

- Mikhail Ulyanov said.

Earlier, the UN Security Council rejected a draft resolution on the non-renewal of sanctions against Iran. Tehran criticized this decision.
