Nearly 3,000 trucks are waiting to enter Russia at the Verkhny Lars checkpoint. Trucks are proceeding in an electronic queue.

A large accumulation of vehicles is observed at the Russian-Georgian border, the press service of the head of the North Ossetian government informs. Approximately 3,000 heavy-duty trucks have already accumulated at the only checkpoint. No restrictions on entry or exit have been imposed. There is no reason for the traffic jam.

"Traffic along the Georgian Military Highway and the Transcaucasian Highway is proceeding without restrictions for all types of vehicles. However, there is a large accumulation of heavy-duty trucks waiting to pass through the Verkhny Lars checkpoint. 2,960 vehicles are registered in the electronic queue,”
