Iranian president to personally attend meeting of UN General Assembly

Deputy Head of the Press Service of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,
Mohammad Hassan Salehi Maram, has denied rumors about the upcoming
visit to New York of Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi to
attend the UN General Assembly instead of Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad, SalamNews reports.

Salehi Maram said that there is no doubt that President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad will visit New York to attend the UN General Assembly
meeting. The president is not going to miss the opportunity to speak
at the meeting of the General Assembly and to bring the voice of the
people of Iran, he added.
