Tehran supports Gaza settlement initiatives - Iranian Foreign Ministry

Iran says it supports "any initiative" aiming to secure "self-determination" for the Palestinian people, the Iranian foreign ministry said.

"Iran has always supported any initiative aimed at ending ethnic cleansing, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, and paving the way for the realization of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination," the statement reads.

The ministry urged the international community to support the struggle of the Palestinian people to realize their right to self-determination and liberation from Israel's "colonialism".
