Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev to meet tomorrow

Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev will hold talks in Dushanbe tomorrow, Dmitry Peskov said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will meet in Dushanbe tomorrow, October 9, the Russian leader's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, said, answering Channel One’s question.

The Kremlin spokesman clarified that the talks will focus on relations between Moscow and Baku. Russian-Azerbaijani ties will be a key issue on the meeting's agenda.

Peskov also noted that the very fact of holding talks demonstrates the heads of state's desire to discuss pressing issues of bilateral cooperation. According to the Kremlin spokesman, Russia is committed to a constructive and positive dialogue.
