Lavrov says Iran interested in resuming nuclear program talks

Tehran is interested in resuming the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

When asked whether the resumption of full-scale negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program is possible, the diplomat emphasized that "Iran is interested in them."

"Iran has been consistently speaking in favor of negotiations, showing flexible and creative approaches," Sergey Lavrov said.

According to the minister, the West is doing its best to prevent Tehran and Washington from negotiating any kind of deal.
