Hamas releases hostages - names revealed

The radical Palestinian movement Hamas has presented a list of 20 living Israeli hostages expected to be released as part of a Gaza ceasefire deal.

The list includes a Donbass native, Maxim Kharkin.

"The names included Bar Abraham Kupershtein, Evyatar David, Yosef-Chaim Ohana, Segev Kalfon, Avinatan Or, Elkana Bohbot, Maxim Herkin, Nimrod Cohen, Matan Angrest, Matan Zangauker, Eitan Horn, Eitan Abraham Mor, Gali Berman, Ziv Berman, Omri Miran, Alon Ohel, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Rom Braslavski, Ariel Cunio and David Cunio," the statement reads.

A column of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has left for the site of the expected transfer of Israeli hostages.

The 1,966 Palestinian prisoners set to be released on Monday in exchange for the release of Israeli hostages held captive by Hamas have boarded buses at Israeli prisons, an official involved in the operation told Reuters.

Earlier, Israeli prime minister’s spokesperson Shosh Bedrosian announced that the release of Israeli hostages under the Gaza deal will begin on Monday morning.
