Gaza ceasefire agreement finalized at Egyptian summit

A signing ceremony for the agreement to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

The document was endorsed by US President Donald Trump, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

"This took 3,000 years to get to this point. Can you believe it? And it's going to hold up too. It's going to hold up",

Trump said.

Representatives from more than 20 countries are participating in the summit to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip. It was previously reported that the meeting would last about two hours.
