Gassiev to face Pulev in December bout

Promoter Al Siesta confirmed Murat Gassiev's upcoming fight against Bulgarian boxer Kubrat Pulev scheduled for December.

"On December 12, Murat Gassiev is scheduled to fight WBA regular champion Kubrat Pulev in Dubai during the IBA.PRO 13 tournament. This will be a powerful and memorable event",

Al Siesta stated.

The North Ossetian fighter previously defeated Denmark's Kem Ljungqvist by knockout last year and added his 32nd victory by beating American Jeremiah Milton in August.

The Bulgarian champion is on the same level as the Russian heavyweight in terms of the number of victories, but has one more defeat (3 versus 2 for Gassiev).
