Tajikistan hosts international economic forum

Tajikistan is hosting an international economic forum called “Free Economic Zones of Tajikistan – Potential for Development” at Kayrakkum, Trend reports.

The forum is aimed at creating links and supporting relations between state structures, administrations of free economic zones, heads of local companies and representatives of foreign markets. It will also inform investors about benefits of free economic zones.

The forum will open on September 15. It will also see a practical science conference for new mechanisms of developing free economic zones, as well as round tables.

State and foreign economic structures, diplomats, public funds, international and regional organizations were invited.

The forum was organized by the Tajik Ministry for Economic Development and Trade with the administration of the Sugd Free Economic Zone, supported by the executive authorities of the Sogd District, the Tajik National Bank and the OSCE office in Dushanbe.
