Armenia and Iran to simplify ‘customs corridor’

Armenia and Iran are negotiating an agreement on a simplified 'customs corridor', Armenia's State Revenue Committee Chairman Eduard Hakobyan said.

"Negotiations on signing a simplified customs corridor agreement between Armenia and Iran are in progress and are expected to conclude soon," Hakobyan said.

He also provided updates on cooperation with Georgia, Armenpress reported.

"We are discussing a joint checkpoint and have formed a working group to provide combined services at the Gogavan-Guguti section," Hakobyan said.
