Kaytag district in Dagestan elects new administrative head

Zapir Gasanov has been elected head of the Kaytag District administration, according to an official statement from the district's press service.

District assembly deputies selected Gasanov through a majority vote, as reported by TASS news agency.

 

The position became vacant after former head Alim Temirbulatov faced criminal prosecution for fraudulent distribution of municipal land plots.
