Türkiye to receive $7 billion Eurofighter Typhoon arms package

 

As part of the deal to acquire 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets from the UK, Ankara will also receive a comprehensive weapons package for the combat aircraft.

According to Reuters, the deal includes MBDA Meteor air-to-air missiles, short-range missiles as well as Brimstone precision ground-attack weapons. The value of the missile systems is over $7 billion.

It should be noted that the acquisition of 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets will cost Türkiye over $10 billion.
