Earthquake strikes Azerbaijan's Ismayilli region

 

Residents of Azerbaijan's Ismayilli region felt an earthquake today, the Republican Seismic Survey Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) reported.

The Republican Seismological Survey Center reported the epicenter 20 km from Ismayilli station, with a 4.0-magnitude, while nearby villages of Baskal, Lahij, Ahan, and neighboring towns experienced a magnitude 3.0, Trend reports.

 

No casualties or damage have been reported following the seismic event.
