Earthquake strikes Türkiye's Balıkesir province

An earthquake shook northwestern Türkiye on the morning of November 7, according to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority.

A 4.2-magnitude earthquake occurred around 6:00 AM local time, with its hypocenter in Balıkesir's Sındırgı district lying at a depth of 14.7 kilometers.

 

Preliminary reports indicate no casualties or structural damage have been recorded following the earthquake.
