Iran selects new Ambassador to Russia

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei, Iran has begun the process of selecting a new ambassador to Russia. 

"The process for selecting new Iranian Ambassadors to Italy and Russia is ongoing",

 Esmaeil Baghaei reported.

Current Ambassador Kazem Jalali has held the position since December 2019. His predecessor as Tehran's representative in Moscow was Mehdi Sanaei.
